The Non-Violence Project X Andy okay: A New Chapter for Change
This May, we’re proud to kick off our newest collaboration with The Non-Violence Project USA, supporting their powerful Why Knot? initiative across the United States.
In a time when gun violence has become the number-one cause of death and harm for children and youth in America, this work couldn’t be more urgent – or more inspiring.
At the heart of Why Knot? are “art-healing” workshops and education, led by courageous and creative students who are calling for change. These workshops open up channels for social-emotional learning, spark constructive conversations aimed at real solutions, and invite young people to express the urgency of this crisis through art activities.
From public schools in New York City’s five boroughs to Michigan State University and major art museums, students are leading the charge – bringing hope, creativity, and action into spaces where it’s needed most.
At Andy okay, we’ve always believed that art is more than decoration – it’s a catalyst for change. That’s why we’re beyond excited to join forces with The Non-Violence Project Foundation once again.
This isn’t the first time we’ve collaborated, but this 2025 partnership feels especially meaningful. The Why Knot? initiative aligns perfectly with our mission to harness creativity for good. It’s bold, it’s youth-led, and it invites everyone to be part of the solution.
Through this collaboration, Andy okay’s Art for Causes platform will play an important role. We'll be curating a selection of engaging artworks where every print purchased will help fund art supplies, transportation, and resources for the Non-Violence Youth Advisory Council – a group of outstanding young leaders designing violence-prevention programs for campuses across the country.
It’s art that doesn’t just hang on a wall – it helps empower a generation calling for peace.
Looking ahead, we’re energized by what partnerships like this make possible. When art, activism, and community come together, the impact can be exponential. This collaboration is a testament to the power of youth voices, creativity, and collective action.
We can’t wait to explore more ways to connect art with purpose, inspire meaningful conversations, and prove that creativity is one of the most powerful tools for change.
Stay tuned. We’re honored to stand alongside The Non-Violence Project and the youth leading this movement – and invite you to join us in supporting a future where peace wins.
Why an investment in youth voices for non-violence? Why Knot?
